More community office hours - Office of Councilmember Brianne K. Nadeau
Join me for informal office hours in the community to chat one-on-one about issues that matter to you. I’ll be outside the Shaw Metro Station’s north entrance during rush hour to meet commuters, answer questions, and chat about community concerns.
I’ll be at Banneker Pool to meet with residents and soak up some sun. Come enjoy one of Ward 1’s public pools and chat with me about issues that matter to you. Residents get in free with a District ID.
Join me for office hours in the community to chat one-on-one about issues that matter to you. I’ll be outside the Georgia Ave-Petworth Metro Station during the evening rush hour to meet commuters, answer questions, and chat about community concerns.
Drop by, grab your morning coffee, and chat. The event is one of my Brianne on Your Block events, which are regular opportunities for Ward 1 community members to meet me at locations across the ward. Participants will sign in as they arrive, and I’ll speak with residents in informal conversations about topics that interest them.
National Night Out: August 2nd
The two police districts that cover Ward 1 — the 3rd District and 4th District — will be holding events for National Night Out next week and I’ll be stopping by both. They’re a great way to meet your local officers and have fun with the family.
I’ve been working hard to improve public safety in Ward 1 including supporting funding for MPD to add 60 new officers, enhancing funding for programs to support at-risk youth, voting for a rebate program to help residents and businesses buy security cameras, and championing Council action to end street harassment.
